CAMP REIMAGINED
Camp Curated With You.
A CAMP LABORATORY ROOTED IN JUSTICE, CHOICE, AND COMMUNITY.
We are on a mission to build belonging for all people, including those who have been historically marginalized from safe access to natural spaces.
We believe that by centering voices that have traditionally been left out of the conversation and by empowering those voices to thrive, we can spark an industry-shifting movement.
EXPLORING THE EDGES OF POSSIBILITY FOR A MORE EQUITABLE FUTURE.
Camp Reimagined is an innovative 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing transformative and inclusive Camping experiences for individuals historically excluded from the Camping industry. Serving as a hub for internal Camp programs and a collaborative space for struggling, new, or revolutionary Camps and models, we play a vital role in reducing costs and barriers while exploring diverse and dynamic programming opportunities for populations lacking traditional means or access to Camps, nature, or safe spaces altogether.
Racial & Social Justice
We work towards uncovering and dismantling camp systems and traditions that are rooted in white supremacy and colonialism.
We build spaces where participants of all genders and sexualities have access to a safe and affirming camp experience.
sustainability
We strive to be a model for sustainability practices within the camping industry and beyond.
We believe it is our responsibility to steward this land with great intention and care and to share our sustainability initiatives in hopes that others will join us.
Centering Youth Voice
We center the voices and needs of the young people we serve to maximize choice and agency.
We believe that cultivating a culture of radical trust creates a container in which youth can explore their limitless potential.
building
community
We serve as stewards of this land, welcoming in values-aligned partners who can utilize this space to make a difference in their communities.
We believe we are here to learn from and spotlight the many pioneers in the camping industry who have been at the forefront of DEI progress at camp.
